In late May, Justin Trudeau ordered that the Canadian flag be flown at half-mast at all federal buildings, indefinitely. That was over five months ago. Now, Remembrance Day is almost here, and many Canadians say that if our flags are not raised before then, the traditional November 11 half-mast ceremony to honour our veterans -- many of whom are Indigenous -- will not be meaningful.
