This is an emergency: the Trump tariffs are poised to throw hundreds of thousands of Canadians out of work. And if Mark Carney's Liberals keep hiking our own tariffs in retaliation, Canadians will be forced to pay more for food, coffee, sugar, alcohol, deodorant, clothing, blankets, household appliances, video games, vehicle tires, toilet paper... and hundreds of other items!
And that's just phase one. It's only going to get worse from there.
With all this economic pain on the horizon, the least our government can do is to give Canadians a break and end the carbon taxes. All of them. Immediately.
(He got rid of the "consumer" tax, but kept the business one... that just gets passed on to consumers, like you.)
Do you agree?
Let's tell Mark Carney: After years of the pandemic, lockdowns, and inflation gutting our economy, we cannot afford another big increase to our cost of living. Cancel all carbon taxes, for real, and do something that actually helps Canadians cope with these hard times.
